This category regroups the 3D printer filaments, by polymers, offered by ColoriLAB, for 3D printing.

PLA 3D printer filaments (Polylactic Acid - Polylactide)
ABS 3D printer filaments (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is more impact and heat resistant than regular PLA and is one of the most popular polymer in the plastic industry.
HIPS 3D printer filaments (High Impact Polystyrene) is impact resistant & a nice complement to ABS and PLA 3D printing filaments. It can be used as supports since it is dissolved by D-Limonene.
Nylon PA (polyamide) 3D printer filament from ColoriLAB is impact resistant, has a low coefficient of friction and good durability against abrasion.
PETG 3D printer filament polyethylene terephthalate glycol combines the fascinating transparency (when offered as clear or as transparent & translucent colors) with mechanical and enviable 3D printing properties. Having a low shrinkage rate, it is stable and has a very low distortion (warpage) behavior, when 3D printing. Also offering properties resembling those of the polycarbonate (PC), although less performing, the PETG 3D printer filament prints quite as easily as the PLA 3D printer filament.
TPE 3D printer filament is a thermoplastic elastomer (rubber) more or less easy to stretch according to its hardness.
TPU 3D printer filament is a polyurethane based thermoplastic elastomer that offers a good durability to abrasion and can be used to obtain a rubberized surface (soft touch rubber feel) or to make wheels, tires, shoe soles, hoses, seals, etc.
PC 3D printer filament (polycarbonate) offers excellent mechanical and thermal properties specifications: it is stiff and strong while having a great impact and heat resistance. It can also be clear and translucent.
PVA 3D printing filament (Polyvinyl alcohol) is water soluble. It allows to print ephemeral 3D objects that will be dissolved by rain or water. The PVA 3D printer filament may also be used to print supports that will be dissolved in water, while you're working on other tasks.
POM 3D printer filament (acetal, polyoxymethylene) offers properties similar to the nylon (PA) filament. Some advantages of the POM 3D printing filament are: its low humidity absorption, its resistance to lubricants and oils, its good friction and creep resistance, its good flexural performance and its fatigue endurance (springs). POM acetal is UV rays sensitive without protection. Moreover, when used in a friction interface with nylon (PA), the friction coefficient between the POM and the PA is very low. POM is a potential alternative to nylon and used to make bushings, gears, etc.
PP 3D printer filament (polypropylene) offers excellent flexural (live hinges) and fatigue characteristics; its macromolecules can be oriented in the stress solicitation direction. It also offers a good resistance to cracking under load.
ASA 3D printer filaments (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile) are somewhat similar to ABS but having great outdoor durability & improved weather resistance (UV resistance, etc). ASA filaments provide interesting toughness & rigidity while offering good chemical resistance and superior resistance to yellowing and aging.
PC-ABS 3D printer filaments may be remembered as tough PC (Polycarbonate) 3D printer filaments.
Here, PC is mixed to ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) to profit from the advantages of both polymer resins. Thus, the resulting PC-ABS 3d filament profit from the strength and heat resistance of PC in addition to the shock & impact resistance that ABS can provide. The result is a high performance engineering 3D printer filament capable of supporting demanding applications affordably. Perfect for the mass production of your next series of end-use parts!
PEI (ULTEM ™) 3D printer filament is made of an amorphous thermoplastic polyetherimide polymer resin. PEI 3D printing filament offers outstanding high heat temperature resistance, high strength and stiffness as well as vast chemical resistance. Note that ULTEM 3d filament is also flame retardant by itself.
PMMA Poly(methyl methacrylate) 3D printer filament is also known as acrylic or Plexyglass™ 3D printing filament. PMMA 3d filament is best when a highly transparent to translucent material is sought that also offers good tensile strength, flexural strength, a high polish and UV tolerance over chemical, heat resistance and impact strength.
(Polystyrene) PS 3d printer filament is a clear and hard 3d printing filament. As glass, PS 3d filament is however brittle. It generally has a low impact resistance. As an example, its hardness allows it to penetrate and mark other materials, in a similar way that diamond does to nearly all other materials.
(Polyether ether ketone) PEEK 3D printer filament is an engineering polymer that offers high performance. Its high heat resistance reaches continuous use to temperature up to 250 °C (482 °F).
PEEK 3d printing filament can be used to make mechanical parts that must withstand high temperature as well as electrical applications.
